Today, more than one-third of all Americans are minorities and that percentage is expected to increase. Now more than ever, it's important for Realtors to be prepared to work effectively with an increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. By embracing the cultural diversity in our market, agents are poised to gain a competitive edge and expand their opportunities.
For several years, the Grosse Pointe Board of REALTORS has offered the At Home With Diversity (AHWD) certification course, and we are pleased to offer it again this spring. This year, participants will receive 7 hours of Continuing Education! This one-day course includes the one time certification fee and costs just 99USD. AHWD also counts towards elective credit towards the Accredited Buyer Representative Designation, which is another course GPBR will be offiering this year.
The Expo traditionally attracts hundreds of local homeowners as well as members of the Grosse Pointe Board of Realtors®, who are interested in home improvement and renovation projects. Scheduled in early Spring, the Expo provides inspiration to homeowners planning spring projects, and is a prime opportunity to promote your business and forge relationships with future clients.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to changes at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial beyond our control, vendors must bring their own extension cords if they wish to have electrical access.
