Updates and developments in Wayne County and the City of Grosse Pointe Park will be discussed. Featured speakers include:
Tim Killeen, Wayne County Commissioner
Palmer Heenan, GPP Mayor
Dale Krajniak, GPP City Manager
Immediately following the meeting, at approximately 10:15am, we will be offering a Social Networking Class for those who are interested in staying. Scott Gaffan will present the in's and out's of Facebook, Linked In, Twitter and other relevent social media websites. You will learn how to set up accounts & get started, which services to use and not use, and how to use social networking professionally.
This session is expected to run until 11:30. Due to this, broker tours will be delayed and will run from 11:30am - 1pm. |

MAR’s annual REALTOR® of the Year award is the highest honor bestowed upon a Michigan REALTOR®. It stands for integrity, individual achievement and perhaps the greatest compliment: recognition from peers in the real estate industry.
MAR President Dan Coffey hopes every local association submits a nomination this year. Awards will be presented at MAR’s 2009 Convention & Expo, held October 7-9 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. The recipient is selected from individuals nominated by a local association/board who:
• Advocate and expand the interest of fellow REALTORS®, their profession, and the real estate community
at large
• Demonstrate the outstanding work by REALTORS® to the general public
• Fit a leadership position among peers and foster a spirit of camaraderie between locals, the state and
national REALTORS®.
