Broker Prep Classes at the Board Office
Events
Tuesday, 22 July 2014

We are pleased to announce that for the first time in more than ten years, GPBR will be hosting Broker Prep Classes here at the board office. This three-part series of classes is designed to help licensed agents attain the highest qualification the State of Michigan offers - the title "Associate Broker". Join the ranks of real estate experts and gain a competitive advantage by becoming a licensed broker.

These classes are being taught by Jack Waller from NCI Associates, who is familiar to many of our members from our Continuing Education Classes.

The class summaries are below, you can take all three or just sign up for the courses you need. Please contact NCI Associates directly to register for class at 586-247-9800.

RES 201: Broker License Prep
This "flagship" course provides the information you need to successfully complete your real estate broker's license exam. This class concentrates on solid information, testing techniques, developing good preparation habits, and confidence building. NOTE: For those who've taken broker preparation classes elsewhere, Jack will let you know at this class how many total hours you still require. Students are able to take the broker exam after completing this class, and have up to one year from applying with the State to fulfill remaining educational obligations.
4-weeks, 30 hours, $325
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Days: 8/28, 9/4. 9/11, 9/18
Location: GPBR Office, 710 Notre Dame

RES 203: Policies & Procedures for Real Estate Risk Management
This program is the only one of its type to actually help you create or upgrade the most important tool in your risk management arsenal - A Policy & Procedures Manual. While our industry is under constant legal assault, it's amazing how little attention is focused on this critical issue. Learn from industry and legal experts how to: (1) Create or upgrade a personalized, comprehensive policy manual, (2) How to integrate it into your company practices, and (3) How to train staff so everyone is "signed on" to your new or revised policy!
4-weeks, 30 hours, $325
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Days: 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23
Location: GPBR Office, 710 Notre Dame

RES 202: Broker Law Speciality: Contracts & Fair Housing
This fast-paced program covers two critical risk management issues for brokers and managers. Learn what skills agents must possess when breaking down and communicating contract and form details to their increasingly savvy customers and clients. Learn from a broker's or manager's perspective how to teach and coach your agents to do this correctly. This course delivers all 9 required hours of fair housing in a practical, real world format.
4-weeks, 30 hours, $325
