2008 GPBR Golf Outing

Sycamore Hills Golf Club
Please join us for our annual Golf Outing at Sycamore Hills. Your ticket includes 18 holes of golf w/cart, lunch, cocktails, dinner and refreshments throughout the day. If you're not a golfer, consider joining us for dinner and drinks. A highlight of this event every year is our huge raffle with lots of great prizes. For more info, please check out the links below.

Once again this year we will be celebrating Grosse Pointe life with Victory in the Pointes, a series of festivities running from Sept 4- 7.
EVENT GUIDE:
Friday - The fun will start off with a Tailgate Tastefest and the North vs. South football game at Grosse Pointe North at 5pm. The Grosse Pointe Arts Center will have an open house at 6:30pm.
Saturday - Visit Grosse Pointe's very own farmer's market - West Park Market will be open for business on Kercheval from Nottingham Rd. to Maryland in the Park. The Ford House will be hosting "Football Fun for Families at the Ford House" from noon until 2pm. The Chamber of Commerce's "Let's Crow" Party kicks off at 7pm, followed by their Scarecrow Auction at 8:30pm.
Sunday - Finally on Sunday, the Grosse Pointe Board of REALTORS will have over 150 open houses, the Soroptomists will be hosting a community cornucopia at the War Memorial, and the Cook School will be having a picnic, dedication ceremony, and music from the Sun Messengers.

Please join us this Saturday for the first ever Art & Garden Tour. Tickets are only $10 and may be purchased at any of the following gardens, during the hours of 10am - 4pm.

Artists will be displaying work in 7 of the gardens - we've included painters Jane McFeely , Daniel Padilla, Isabelle Goosen, Paula Morris, and Jan Kiewiet , as well as Carl Schnieder who will be showing off woodcut impressions and handmade tiles. Photographers Lynn Bernardi & Andy Schwartz of West Park Photography will have prints on display, and the inspired found art/iron work of Iron Ivy will be scattered throughout a few gardens.
